                       He was a hired worker and a soldier in 1850.
                       Stine's mother was Kirsten Jensdatter, born 1805, Nordrup, DK
                       There are two Nordrup's in the Ringsted area,
                       not sure which one is the right one.
Children of Anders Ferdinand and Birthe Kirstine Madsen:
   1. Hans Christian Andersen (Figure 7), born 1 Apr 1867,
       died 3 Jan 1940 in Raymond Township, WI.
       (Not the HC Anderson that is the famous Danish author of children's books):
       He immigrated to the USA in Mar 1887.
   2. Anna Margrethe Andersen (Figure 8), born 1 Jul 1869, died 1 Mar 1969,
       did not immigrate or marry.
   3. Niels Peter Andersen (Figure 9), born 19 Jul 1873, died 13 Apr 1911 in WI,
       immigrated Feb 1890, married Mary Peterson, had two sons
   4. Kirstine Andersen (no picture), born 1878, did not immigrate, date of death not known,
       married a Pedersen, had two children.
   5. Karl Herman Andersen (Figure 10), born 5 Jul 1882, did not immigrate, died 17 May 1966
       Married Karen 28 Oct 1906. They had ten children.
   6. Jens Andersen (Figure 11), born 1886, died in Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918,
       did not immigrate or marry.
   All of Anders Madsen's childrens births were registered in Haraldsted, DK.
   They lived about 6.5 km (4 miles) north of Ringsted in a community call Skee
   in the house shown in Figure 12. The house has been upgraded but it is still being used.

After immigrating Hans Christian Anderson married Martine Hansine Peterson (Figure 13) on 19 Nov 1900 in Yorkville Township near Racine, WI.
Martine Hansine Peterson was born 10 Feb 1867, Hennetved, DK (Langeland island), died 24 Mar 1940, Racine, immigrated on 14 May 1888. See the following "Martine (Tina) Hansine Peterson Information" section for information on H. C. Anderson's wife.

Children of Hans Christian and Martine (Tina) Hansine Anderson (Figure 20):
   All were, born on the Anderson farm (Figure 36) in Raymond Township, Wisconsin.
1. An unnamed girl, born in 1901 who died 8 days later.
2. Leroy (Roy) Ferdinand Anderson (Figure 21),
   born 26 Dec 1902, died 18 Dec 1983, Racine, WI.
   Leroy (Roy)Ferdinand Anderson married Martha Nelson on 28 Oct 1936
   in Waukegan, Ill (Figure 28). Martha was, born on 20 Jun 1904.
3. Clara Marie Anderson (Figure 26), born 9 May 1905, died 27 Jul 1999, Long Grove, IL.
            Clara Marie Anderson did not marry.
4. Olga Louise Anderson (Figure 31), born 26 Jul 1907, died 3 Nov 1989, Sun City, AZ.
            Olga Louise Anderson married Scott Hartsell and divorced soon afterward.
            Olga married Henry Elias Holl on 15 Jul 1935 (Figure 31)
            Henry was, born 23 Jul 1900 and died 14 Jun 1985 in Sun City, AZ.
5. An unnamed boy born in 1910 who died at birth.
